It all started in April 2017, in a place neither of them expected—work.

Jose and Jomely met as part of the same team, working side by side on projects and sometimes sharing casual chats in the office. At first, it was all professional. Jose, the newbie and one of the few guys on the team, quickly became the talk of the town. All the ladies (and maybe a few guys) seemed to have their eye on him, and he definitely caught Jomely’s attention. But it wasn’t just his newness that sparked something—it was the way they connected instantly. And just to make things interesting, Jomely might’ve accidentally violated a few HR policies along the way. But hey, love doesn’t follow the rules, right? 😉

What started as casual office chats turned into shared lunches, inside jokes, and weekend hangouts. Then came the memorable Chipotle run—when a simple lunch turned into an unexpected detour thanks to a fender bender. Thankfully, everyone was okay (though the burritos had to wait). That day somehow made their bond even stronger, a reminder that even in the unexpected, they could rely on each other.

Their first official date? May 23rd, 2017: a Dodgers game. And since both of them are huge Dodgers fans, it felt like the perfect way to spend time together. The energy in the stadium was electric, and it didn’t hurt that the Dodgers won 2-1 against the Cardinals that night. As they cheered for their team, they realized they were just as in sync as the Dodgers on the field. That game was more than just a date—it was a moment that solidified what they both already knew: this was something special.

From there, they kept showing up for each other. Over the years, they traveled together, supported each other’s dreams, and enjoyed life’s little moments—from late-night talks to spontaneous adventures. Whether it was enjoying a beer together, exploring new places, or cheering on the Dodgers, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared passions.
